SOME QUICK SETTINGS TO HELP YOU GAIN CONTROL OF YOUR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT REGARDING TAGS.
Facebook is a place where most people share status updates, photos and videos — not pornography. However, a malicious Trojan that may look like a piece of adult entertainment in a friend’s post is already affecting countless members of the social networking service.
The attack is characterized as some sort of chain were the malicious Trojan is tagging a victim’s Facebook friends. Those friends see a post pointing to a porn video and obviously millions of Facebook users have already been infected within a short period of time.
In other instances, if you're logged on Facebook and go on an adult entertainment website that has a Facebook plug-in button - it's likely you're being tracked, this is because the firm collects data about the websites you're visiting so they can target the ads you see - including your taste in porn. So you are simply being served with what you asked for๐ค๐.
Anyway, whichever the case might be, let's go on and look at some simple settings that can help you gain control of your Facebook account regarding tags in general.
On an updated mobile browser, tap and open the Main menu on Facebook which is on the top right corner.
Tap on "Settings and Privacy". Then "Settings". Then click on "Profile and Tagging" under Audience Visibility.
There, You will find the following segments;
•VIEWING AND SHARING.
Under viewing and sharing, the first option helps you to set Who can post on your profile. Click on it and choose the option applicable to you.
The second option helps you to set Who can see what others post on your profile. again you can click on it and choose the option your heart desires.
•TAGGING
Under Tagging, the first option helps you to set Who can see posts you are tagged in on your profile. Click and choose your desired option.
In the second option, if their is a post which you are tagged in. You can set who you would want to add to the audience of the post if they can't already see. again click and choose the audience of your choice.
•REVIEWING
Under Reviewing, there are equally two options. The first one helps you to Review tags people add to your posts before the tags appear on Facebook. Click on it and chose between On and Off.
The second Helps you to Review posts you're tagged in before the post appears on your Profile. So, in essence, this option gives you the power to control what gets displayed on your wall. Again Click and choose to turn either On or Off.
